‘No’ to
cuts
in fire service
MAYOR Dorothy Thornhill
is fighting the cuts proposed for our fire service
by Conservative-run Hertfordshire
County Council. She says: ‘These
plans will mean a 50 per cent cut in
night cover at our Watford fire
station. This is not an efficiency
saving, it is a reduction in service –
Hertfordshire County Council should
think again.
