Rainbow Festival – have
your say
THE Rainbow Festival in the town centre this year kept the spirit
of the festival alive, and was enjoyed by many people.
As many readers will know, we weren’t
able to hold it in Cassiobury Park this year after serious health
and safety risks were
identified.
With 35,000 people attending last year, and no way of predicting
how many people will come or controlling access to the park,
it had become
too big to be run safely. (One council in England is facing prosecution
for corporate manslaughter after an accident on council property).
