Hames
I have lived in Carpenders Park for 34 years. I came to
live in Hertfordshire as a bride, a new county and a new
future.
We had three children who were all born in Watford General
Hospital and educated locally, all gaining a university place.
My son is a District Councillor in Wiltshire and a prospective
candidate in the General Election. My eldest daughter is
a Doctor and my youngest is a Physiotherapist. As I have
worked in our local Health Centre for many years as Office
Manager and then in Watford General Hospital as a Coding
Officer you can see that the conversation in our house is
centred around Politics and the National Health Service.
I have been a Watford Rural Parish Councillor for three
years and a Three Rivers District Councillor for two years.
My main objective is to deal with the problems that the residents,
like myself have concerns about.
I live here and if I have worries then there must be others
that have them to.
At ever stage of our lives we have different priorities,
just because yours is not the same as your neighbours this
does not mean that it is not important.
I want to cover all these concerns.
Anti social behaviour, education, youth services, transport,
the state of our roads and pavements and of course the health
service a subject near to my heart.
I hate the Council Tax lets have a fairer local income
tax based on ability to pay.
