Watford Borough Council Election - 15 June 2006
Nascot Ward - Election postponed from May 4th
Ian BrownA message from your Lib Dem Candidate Ian Brown
I am honoured and delighted to be chosen to stand in the election for a new councillor for Woodside.
I know this area really well, having been born and bred in Watford. In my schooldays I attended Leavesden Green School which, of course, is in Woodside, before moving onto Watford Grammar School. I have lived in Watford for most of my life and have been a season ticket holder at Watford Football Club for many years.
After 30 years of Labour rule, Mayor Dorothy Thornhill and the Liberal Democrats have started sorting out the Council, cleaning up the town and restoring pride in Watford.
It is this work that Dorothy Thornhill, Cllrs Alan and Ellie Burtenshaw and the Liberal Democrats have done that have impressed me and I am committed to working closely with them.
The election is on Thursday June 10th - I hope you will give me your support.
Best wishes

Ian Brown
