 A
message from your Lib Dem candidate Cllr Andy Wylie
Dear Residents,
I
have served as a Stanborough Ward Councillor since 1995 and am
currently working in Mayor Dorothy Thornhill’s cabinet on Transport
and Planning issues.
Over the past few years I have been involved
in such issues as estate “
Clean Up” days (they have been very successful!), speaking on
behalf of
residents on planning and road matters, installing new bus shelters
and recently helping to stamp out anti-social behaviour.
I find I deal with lots of local housing issues
and that’s why
I have
especially pressed for accelerating the front door & bathroom replacement
programme. I’m particularly pleased that we now have post and
rail fencing in North Approach and am currently campaigning
for parking bays.
Since January I have personally reported over 100
potholes. The state of
roads and pavements in the area is a real problem and am pressing
Herts
Highways for action in a number of areas.
Liberal Democrat local effectiveness, combined with their national
and
international stance, has impressed me. It has made me want to
be part of
the Liberal Democrats so that I can continue to support the good
work
being done.
The election is on Thursday 10th June - I hope you will give me
your
support. I give you my commitment that I will work effectively
to
represent your views and needs.
Best wishes
Andy Wylie
