Nascot Ward - Election postponed from May 4th
Tony PooleA message from your candidate Tony Poole
Dear fellow residents,
As a long standing Oxhey resident living in Kingsfield Road I have been delighted to have served as one of your councillors since 1998. I have worked closely with many of you to make the local area better. I have represented your views and tried to make a difference for Oxhey and Watford.
Under the leadership of Mayor Dorothy Thornhill we have started sorting out the Council, cleaning up the town and restoring pride in Watford.
I am delighted to report that the financial accounts of the Council have been given a clean bill of health for the first time in four years. This is very good news!
The Liberal Democrats have invested a lot of time and effort cleaning up the streets, removing abandoned cars and clearing the dumped rubbish and graffiti. The Audit Commission has praised how much progress we have made in just two years.
Of course, these things take time, but after 30 years of Labour rule, I think you will agree that we have turned the corner.
I am standing for re-election on Thursday 10th June - I hope you will give me your support.
Best wishes
Tony Poole
