A message from your Lib Dem candidate Jan Brown

I am honoured and delighted to be chosen to stand in the election for a new councillor for Meriden.

I know this area really well having grown up in Garston. For many years I lived in Coates Way and my parents lived in Fourth Avenue. My sons attended Garston Infants and Lea Farm Schools and one of them still lives in the ward. One of my main interests outside of politics is football and I am a season ticket holder at Watford Football Club.

After 30 years of Labour rule Mayor Dorothy Thornhill and the Liberal Democrats have started sorting out the Council, cleaning up the town and restoring pride in Watford.

It is this work that Dorothy Thornhill, Cllr Sue Greenslade and the Liberal Democrats have done that has impressed me and I am committed to working closely with them.

The election is on Thursday June 10th - I hope you will give me your support.
