Cllr Chris Whately-Smith has been re-selected
as the Liberal Democrat candidate in the elections on 10th June.
Chris lives in the ward in Lauderdale Road with
his wife Caroline and their sons, James and Ed. He works as a wine
merchant and a consultant to the hospitality industry. In his spare
time Chris enjoys entertaining friends and family, playing golf and
is a Youth Coach at Langleybury Cricket Club.
After five years as a councillor, Chris has
successfully taken up a number of local issues, including issues
with Railtrack at Hunton Bridge, local road surfaces, and securing
improvements
to homes on Hillside. A major challenge for the coming year will
be ensuring that new development in Hunton Bridge integrates with
the village.
