Cllr David Major has been re-selected as the Liberal Democrat candidate in the local elections on 10th June.
David lives in the ward at St Lawrence Close. He has worked for over 30 years as a self-employed electronics engineer, specialising in musical instruments. In his spare time, David enjoys sailing and collecting cinematic equipment and feature fills.
After a lifetime living in the Abbots Langley area and five years as a councillor, David is a well-known figure in the village. He has successfully taken up a number of local issues, especially housing and local roads. He serves on the management committee of the Citizens Advice Bureau and on the board of West Herts crematorium.
